The purpose of this site is to assist people who wish to hire a barge or seek a barge for sale to achieve their goal. The site contains information about the hire or rental of our own dutch barge, moored in France. In addition we have a section called Barge Sales which lists a few barges that we personally know which are for sale. If you want to buy a barge or simply rent one then we may be able to help. Other parts of the site are constructed to assist existing owners in their route planning. Information in the form of canal guides, boat & barge photos, & travel stories we hope will assist those already cruising the canals of Europe and those aspiring to do so.

The barge hire section illustrates our own dutch barge and has layout and interior photos. The Barge Sales section lists barges for sale that our friends have put on the web site. We are not "Barge brokers" as such but merely are assisting barge sellers and prospective buyers to contact one another. There are more specialist sections such as the Rhone flow rates information which may assist those wishing to make a passage down the Saone, Rhone waterway . The data of flow rates gives navigators an idea of what to expect.
